12 years experience in filament production

The virgin polymer is carefully unpacked from it's bulk packaging and transferred into specialized drying equipment. There, it is dried under controlled conditions to remove excess moisture and prepare the material for processing. This important step helps the polymer flow smoothly during the later extrusion stage, supporting consistent production and a high quality finished product with fewer defects.

Everything Starts With The Raw Material

After the filament has been wound onto spools, the rolls are carefully loaded into a large industrial dryer for a final drying stage. They remain inside the dryer for a set period, allowing the process to reduce moisture throughout the material.

This final step helps remove any remaining moisture before packaging, helping protect the filament’s quality during storage and shipment. Once drying is complete, the spools can be prepared for sealing in protective bags.

Mixing The Polymer

Extrusion

After the drying stage has removed most of the moisture present in the material, the raw pellets are mixed with different additives to create the desired filament. Each additive is carefully measured according to established recipes, helping ensure consistent color, performance, and quality between production batches. Specialized industrial machines blend the ingredients thoroughly so that the additives are distributed evenly throughout the material. Once mixing is complete, the prepared material is ready to move on to the extrusion stage.

Drying (again)

The prepared material mixture is transferred into the extrusion line, where it is heated according to the specific recipe. As the material melts and moves through the line, the equipment automatically adjusts its operating speed and helps regulate the filament’s thickness. The system maintains thickness accuracy within 0.02 mm. But due to errors that are bound to occur, we sell it as 0.03mm accuracy. Not that a difference of 0.01mm in diameter will have any kind of effect on print quality.

After meling, the filament is cooled in a water bath to help it set and retain its shape. It then passes through a laser measuring system, which monitors the filament’s diameter and provides feedback to regulate the production process.

Spool Winding

At the end of the production line is the spool winding system, where the finished filament is collected onto individual spools. This machine has been carefully engineered to guide the filament smoothly and consistently.

The system creates neat, even windings with each spool. This helps keep the filament organized and reduces tangling, making it easier to handle, package, and use.

Packaging

The dried rolls are loaded onto the packaging conveyor. Workers add desiccant to the rolls so they stay dry after packaging.

the rolls are sealed in plastic bags and packaged into boxes before being sent to us.

After we receive them, we add our own labels to the blank boxes and sell them to you. Factory fresh with minimal margins. After we factor in the shipping and VAT tax. We are not left with much.

But our plan is not to increase the price after gaining market share. Instead we want to be able to make even larger orders so we get a better price per roll from our supplier.

We look forward to sharing this journey with you and hope you will be satisfied with the products we offer!
